Set against the onslaught of the Ice Age, the story revolves around four unforgettable characters: Manny, an acerbic wooly mammoth; Sid, an irreverent giant sloth; Diego, a scheming saber-toothed tiger; and Scrat, a prehistoric squirrel/rat. Together, they take on one unexpected passenger - an abandoned human baby, Roshan. On the perilous quest to bring the baby home, the four become reluctant allies and, ultimately, unlikely heroes.
