Columbus? Forget him! He never discovered America! When he came, he didn't win, he was bitterly defeated. The Old World died. A plague killed almost the entire population, and the survivors came to the New World as refugees, only to be enslaved - by the Indians!
Centuries later, technology has hardly developed at all. The world is populated by Vultures, who fight in giant arenas just to amuse the people. You are one of these Vultures.
